More examples of the dangerous clothing territory I would be tempted to cross into if buying this kid’s wardrobe was up to me.

If I was in charge of picking what the baby was supposed to wear, it would probably be much more like Andre 3000 in the Roses video.
The baby books talk about this is when you are supposed to get the nursery ready. Looks ready to me!
I know I just started this two weeks or so ago, but there is a very good chance that I’m going to abandon this and transition it over to Google+ if it looks like that is going to take hold. That looks to be my speed.
The last time Noah was in this situation, he was just about the same age I am in this photo. (Photo from when my family dropped me off at college freshman year).
Since this is going to be an October baby… Only $4,284!
Through some weird family connection - sister’s mother-in-law’s brother’s new wife yard sale etc - I’m the new owner of a certified crapload of fancy baby clothes. Like ten embroidered linen diaper covers with matching embroidered gowns. And crushed velvet short pant rompers with matching button down shirts with piping. I wouldn’t even know where you buy these clothes. And there are tons. And stuff like snow-suits, seersucker beach cover-ups, and hounds-tooth sherlock holmes caps. I brought the first batch back from my mom’s house this weekend, and it is sort of overwhelming.
In addition, the kid’s cousin has a grandmother on the other side of the family who likes to get a lot of clothes for that cousin, and it looks like age wise we’ll be in good shape for hand-me-downs.
It appears that I’ll be dressing this kid in clothes entirely that I didn’t pick out. Which I sort of think is awesome. Noah suggested a blog chronicling the kid’s wardrobe. Which I know is nothing new, but I do like the idea that the kid will only be dressed in stuff I didn’t pick out.
We’ll see if I follow through. In the meantime I might post baby related stuff, I might not.
Here’s a video that my sister made of some of the stuff her mother-in-law got. This is only part of it.
